NATURE CENTER OFFERS WHALE WALK AND TALK
In honor of the Festival of Whales (March 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th), the Dana Point Nature Interpretive Center will present a free Whale Walk and Talk from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
You can learn about dolphins and whales on a 1½-mile walk through the Dana Point Headlands conservation area. Discussion will cover migration patterns of different whale species and how to best see and identify whales.
You can bring binoculars or use a pair supplied by the center.
